The Dynamic Breakers first performed for the Bright Leaf Hoedown in 1986. They performed with Billy Scott, a true legend in Beach Music. This was one of the best performances you could have heard on the eastern seaboard. The band continued to perform with Billy Scott until the end of December 1988, when Billy Scott and The Prophets were reformed. By this time the Dynamic Breakers were a unique group with their own special identity. This group pleased the crowd so much that we had them back every year after that.
By this time The Dynamic Breakers were considered not only Friends of the Hoedown, but Our Family. Their performance was only a portion of what they contributed. The Dynamic Breakers provided the sound and lighting equipment for all our stage performances.
The Dynamic Breakers had been a part of the Bright Leaf Hoedown for 12 years. Their last performance before the band broke up was in 1998, when the band decided to retire.
The Caswell County Chamber of Commerce kept in touch with the group through Johnny Gooch and a local businessman Stuart Watlington. When we heard the group had met for a reunion and decided to entertain their fans again we were so excited. Finally we could have our own reunion with the group.
The reunion took place during our 28th Annual Bright Leaf Hoedown that was held September 26, 2009. The group is so awesome. The reunion took us all back in time. The Dynamic Breakers are family. We had old pictures and even 45 records of the past. Presenting this memorabilia to Johnny Gooch and the band was touching.
Dont miss hearing The Dynamic Breakers, book them today.
